Notifications do not work
In iOS, notifications are disabled until the user gives their permission. The first time you enable the notification option for food, Kiff will ask if you want to receive them.
On the other hand, some people want to keep their notifications to a minimum. Therefore, instead of activating the default notifications for each meal or leftover, we allow you to choose the foods you want to receive notifications individually.
- Check that you have notifications enabled, and Kiff has permission to send them.
- Check that the food or foods from which you want to receive notifications have their notifications enabled. Click on the food card to access the detail screen and check the
Notifications
field at the bottom of the screen. - If notifications are disabled, edit the food and enable the
Notifications
option.
Additionally, remember that you can modify the frequency at which you receive shelf life notifications, and you can also choose how many days before a product expires you want to receive expiration notifications.
