How to add products before freezing them?

Freezing food is a great way to extend its shelf life so you can use it later. The expiration or best-before dates no longer make sense when we freeze a product since food can generally stay frozen for longer.

Kiff does not have specific functionality to manage frozen food. But here are some suggestions:

1. Indicate next to the name that the food is frozen: You can use an emoji ❄️ or the word (Frozen).

2. Start tracking the product: Put the product in the freezer and let Kiff keep track.

There are other options like using the Expiration date or Shelf life fields, but estimating the time can be cumbersome as some products can remain frozen for months or even years.
