Food watch over

Some people want to keep their notifications to a minimum. Therefore, instead of enabling default notifications for each food or leftover, we allow you to choose the foods you want to receive alerts individually. (See Food shelf life alerts and Food expiration alerts).

However, this can inadvertently cause some foods to spoil.

The watch over function is useful if a food that is being tracked does not have an expiration date or shelf life or does not have notifications enabled. When you haven't used the app for a while, Kiff will send you a generic message to check your fridge or pantry.
