Food tracking allows us to know how long a food, meal, or prepared dish has been open or stored in our refrigerator or pantry.
It is expressed in days, and it&#39;s displayed on the food card as a subtitle when no expiration nor open/shelf life is set, and in the food detail view as a card titled: <code>Tracking</code>.
When you add open/shelf life to your food, Kiff will use this number to determine if your food is still fresh. So, you will need to track any food with a open/shelf life as soon as you buy, open or cook it.

You can start tracking from a past date while adding a new food or at the food detail view.
