How to extend the shelf life of a tracked product?

Sometimes we can overestimate or underestimate the shelf life or make a mistake when adding it. We can always modify said data without losing the rest of the information about the food.

1. Access the food detail (Tap on the card).
2. Tap the top right three dot icon to access additional actions.
3. Select Edit option from the menu.
4. Modify the shelf life by adding or subtracting the necessary days to the amount that already appears in the field and tap Save.

Kiff will take the new shelf life into account and recalculate the food's status along with all its reminders.

Set a new shelf life for future entries

You can also set an open/shelf life for each food in your Food Catalog in the Settings. What you select there is used as the default value for any new food of that type you add. But, it can be overwritten when adding or editing your food if you need to.
