Kiff groups all notifications and alerts for all your food with some type of event (duration or expiration) at the same time of the day. By default, at 9:00 in the morning.
But we know that not everyone wants to receive alerts at the same time. Someone who barely eats at home may wish to receive them when they are about to leave work or just before making dinner. While someone in charge of preparing all the meals will want to receive them first thing in the morning, plan the day accordingly.
Access <code>Settings</code> <code>&gt;</code> <code>Notifications</code> <code>&gt;</code> <code>Notification time</code> and set the time that best suits your needs.

To remind you to eat the food that will no longer be fresh or is about to expire, Kiff needs your permission to send you notifications.

Enabling notifications

The watch over function is useful if a food that is being tracked, does't have an expiration date or shelf life or does not have notifications enabled. When you haven't used the app for a while, Kiff will send you a generic message to check your fridge or pantry.
