When I edit a food in the catalog, how are the changes applied?

Whenever something changes in the catalog, those changes will only be applied to newly added instances of that food.

If you already have items of this type registered in the app and modify something in the food catalog, Kiff will ask you if you want to apply these changes to them. This includes the following data: the icon, the name, the category, the shelf/open life and if it's a packaged food or not.
