Every time you scan something, a card with the food&#39;s information will show at the bottom of the screen. Unless no info for the barcode is found, <a href="/support/barcode/products-with-no-match">learn more about this scenario</a>.
Once you have finished fine tunning that food (<a href="/support/barcode/edit-food">edit the name or icon</a>, <a href="/support/barcode/add-units">add units</a>, <a href="/support/barcode/set-expiration-date">set expiration date</a>, etc.), you can continue scanning new items in two ways:
<ul>
<li>Just scan the new product. The old one will be archived automatically and the new food card will be displayed at the bottom.
</li>
<li>Swipe right the current food card to archive it. Then scan the new product.
</li>
</ul>

Simply scan one food after another, or swipe left a food card to archive it and then scan a new item.

How can I scan multiple different items?

Tap on the food card to expand it, and tap the set expiration button to select a date.

Either scan again the same product or tap on the card to access the buttons to add/remove units.

Tap on the card to access the buttons to add/remove units.

Scan the food, set an expiration date, scan the food again and set the expiration date.

At the moment you can't do it from the scan mode. But you can set the initial default open life by editing the food.

How can I set an open life for products that go bad after opening?

A form will appear where you can define the name, icon and category of the food. This information will be saved for future scans.
