How can I set an open life for products that go bad after opening?

At the moment, you can do it directly from the scan mode. But by following the next steps, when you scan the food again, it will have the desired open life set.

1. Scan your food.
2. Set the desired units and expiration (if necessary).
3. After leaving the barcode scanner, go to the food detail view by taping in the food card.
4. Tap in the top right button with three dots and select the Edit option.
5. Enable Open life option and enter the desired time
6. Tap Save to apply the changes.

This process will set up the initial open life for all future scans of this food. From this moment on, if you want to modify this default open life, you will need to edit it from the Food Catalog.
